Öğretmen adaylarının teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgilerinin ve öğretmenlik öz yeterlik algılarının incelenmesi

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine teacher candidates' technological pedagogical content knowledge and sense of self efficacy. The study was carried out in spring semester of 2014-2015 academic year at Gazi University Gazi Faculty of Education, with the participation of 210 senior students from six different departments. Descriptive method was used in the study. Data was collected through "TPACK Scale" and "Teachers' Sense of Self Efficacy Scale". Data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 23.00 software package. The analysis showed that teacher candidates' technological pedagogical content knowledge was at "good level" and their sense of self efficacy were "quite competent". A statistically significant difference was found in the subdimensions of Technological pedagogical content knowledge and teachers' sense of self efficacy between the different departments. At the same time, there is a moderate positive correlation between some certain subdimensions of these two variables.
